A little Ai History
In 1956 the fathers of Ai defined it as:
The attempt to make machines use language,
form abstractions and concepts, to solve problems.
But LLMs are models of language, trained on language to do language. Reasonably, we cannot expect them to do more. As a result, comprehension is absent leading to hallucinations, fallacies, black boxes and mistrust.
After all these years, can we add what is missing? -We did! Our new Ai does all the things the fathers of Ai dreamt.
We discovered the approach to creating true machine comprehension and intelligence which resulted from adding neural abstractions to language, images and other inputs to model the world.
